Born in San Jose, California, before Perio could even utter his first word, music was already embedded in every fabric of his existence. If the sweet sound of his grandmother’s music didn’t fill the house, the playing of the radio would. Growing up in a home surrounded by a diverse palate of music, it’s no wonder his love for music would eventually emerge and take control.

Perio’s first big break into the music scene came when he received a call from Manager Kevin Colbert while living in New York. Mr. Colbert had come across his social media performances and immediately contacted him requesting that he move back to Los Angeles in order to become the lead singer of his R&B group “A-Game”, which later changed their name to “Appeal”.

During their brief but very industrious time performing as a group, Appeal won numerous talent showcases, including a performance at the Sony Universal showcase at the Celebrity Centre. The first prize was an opportunity to go on tour, but to Perio’s dismay, one of the members left the group before the tour could take place.

His spontaneous decision to move back to LA and pursue a singing career helped him realize how much he truly enjoyed singing. So determined not to be discouraged by this unfortunate turn of events, Perio embarked on a solo career. Honing his craft, Perio became a very versatile and talented singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, and model who has had the unique privilege and pleasure to open for some of the most elite and prestigious artists in the music industry such as mega superstar R&B legend Stevie Wonder, Omarion, Ashanti, Jason Darulo, and E-40.

Ramon Perio signed with OHBOI Entertainment, performing on tours like the Kings of Love Tour with Bobby Valentino, Pleasure P, and J. Holiday, and the Los Angeles School Tour.

Perio has not only performed at some of LA’s most famous landmarks such as Universal City Walk, Celebrity Center, Staple Center, and many well-known nightclubs, but he has also performed in NYC's most famous hot spots as well, such as Tammany Hall, Delancey, Duane Park, Irondale Theatre and the Jamaica Performing Art Center. As an actor, he has appeared in Pink Sweats’s music short film "Hundred Million Reasons, the upcoming series MECCA, and in films such as: "The Real Deal" and "Nine The Series" on PicTV.com with actor Brian White.

Perio is currently working on his upcoming music projects in LA and passionately pursuing his acting career.
